Scientific-Research Institute of Chemical Issues

The Scientific - Research Institute of Chemical Issues was organized by the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 248 of March 25, 2000 in order to integrate science, education and production. The institute includes 4 departments and a technological incubator “Chemical materials science and nanochemistry”.

Scientific directions:

development of new formulations;

synthesis and research of new polymer matrices;

obtained as a basis for the synthesis on their basis of "intelligent" copolymers, moisture absorbents, nanocatalytic systems, dosage forms of prolonged action, sealing compounds

Tasks:

carrying out fundamental and applied research in the field of synthesis of new "intelligent" copolymers, moisture absorbents, nanocatalytic systems, dosage forms (polymer matrices) for the immobilization of drugs, sealing compounds, ion exchangers, etc.;

training of specialists in the field of scientific activity - bachelors, master’s, PhD.

Scientific directions:

development and implementation of innovative dosage forms (nanocapasulation of drugs with biocompatible polymers);

synthesis of new construction materials and moisture sorbents;

study of physical and chemical properties of new "smart" - polymers based on unsaturated polyester resins;

creation of new catalytic systems based on nano-sized transition metals and noble metals immobilized in a polymer matrix.
