GREEN TRANSITION AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: KARNIU HAS JOINED A NEW INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE!

On September 15, a large-scale 2026 symposium dedicated to technological innovation, green energy, and achieving carbon neutrality was held at Northeast Petroleum University in Heilongjiang Province, China.
The highlight of the event was the official launch ceremony of the Belt and Road Energy Industry–University–Research Alliance.
Our university was represented at this international-level event by G.M. Rysmagambetova, Dean of the Faculty of Law, who was presented with an official certificate confirming our university’s membership in the Alliance.
What is the new Alliance?
The Alliance brings together 23 leading energy universities in China, 12 renowned universities from 11 countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative—including Kazakhstan, Russia, Austria, Spain, Türkiye, and Kyrgyzstan—as well as 7 major international energy companies.
Key objectives of the cooperation include:
Strengthening the integration of science, education, and business
Promoting the “dual carbon” goals and the green transition
Developing international partnerships and innovative solutions
During her visit, G.M. Rysmagambetova also delivered a series of thematic lectures for students of Northeast Petroleum University. The students had an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of law and discuss some of the most pressing issues in contemporary legal practice.
