A NEW TEXTBOOK DEVELOPED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION!

As part of our university’s international cooperation with the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), the members of the Department of Finance, in collaboration with Doctor of Philosophical and Economic Sciences İbragimova Natavan Vagif, have developed a textbook entitled “Innovation in the Financial Sphere”. The textbook provides a systematic overview of the theoretical and methodological foundations of innovation in the financial sector. It examines the nature and classification of innovations, the stages of the innovation process, and key innovation management tools. Particular attention is given to: innovative transformations in the banking sector; innovations in financial and stock markets; innovation processes in investment activities; the development of digital assets and FinTech ecosystems. These areas are considered important factors influencing the competitiveness and development of the modern financial system.
The textbook is intended for undergraduate students, master’s students, and PhD students in economics and related fields, as well as researchers and financial practitioners. The textbook aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the regulation, efficiency assessment, and implementation of financial innovations in the context of modern economic conditions. This textbook represents the outcome of joint academic work aimed at strengthening international cooperation, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience, and advancing contemporary financial education.
