WE HAVE GREAT NEWS

At the latest meeting of the Academic Council of Karaganda National Research University named after Academician E.A. Buketov, it was proposed to declare August 12 as University Day.

This date holds special significance for the entire university community and our students. It was on August 12, 2025, that Karaganda National Research University named after Academician E.A. Buketov was granted the status of a National University.

This important milestone recognized the university’s high scientific, educational and intellectual potential, as well as its significant contribution to the development of science and education in Kazakhstan.

From now on, August 12 will become a special date in the university calendar — a day of pride in our university’s history, achievements and future!
