TRADITIONS, UNITY AND THE SPIRIT OF THE NATION!

On August 12, the square of KARAGANDA BUKETOV UNIVERSITY was filled with a special atmosphere as it hosted a vibrant ethno-team-building event that brought together students, faculty members, staff, and guests of the University.

Exactly one year ago, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, our University was granted national university status.

Participants immersed themselves in Kazakhstan’s rich cultural heritage: they explored national customs and traditions, took part in team activities, interacted with one another, and together created a genuine atmosphere of unity.

The ethno-team-building event once again demonstrated that traditions are not only part of our history, but also a living element of modern university life, capable of bringing generations together and inspiring new achievements.

The main musical highlight of the evening was a performance by the special guest, renowned Kazakhstani singer, composer, and music producer Ulykpan Zholdasov.

The festive programme was also enriched by performances from the University’s creative groups and invited artists.

This day became a true celebration of unity — a celebration that brought everyone together around national culture, shared values, and love for their University.

One year with national university status — and many more achievements, bold ideas, and great victories lie ahead!
