A NEW STEP IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND KOREAN STUDIES!

On October 2, a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mr. Jung Ki-hong, visited Karaganda National Research University named after Academician Ye.A. Buketov.
During a meeting with the university's leadership, the parties discussed key areas of joint work and prospects for strengthening their partnership.
Key outcomes of the visit:
Establishment of a Korean Language Center
One of the central topics was the prospect of opening a specialized Center at the university, as well as recruiting a qualified Korean language instructor to meet the growing demand among students.
Support for the educational process
Embassy representatives reviewed the Korean language materials and textbooks previously donated to the university.
Direct dialogue with students
The diplomats met with Buketov University students who are passionately interested in Korean language and culture. The students shared their achievements and plans, and had the chance to ask questions directly to the Ambassador and members of the delegation.
This visit marked an important stage in expanding the university's educational and cultural horizons, opening up new opportunities for our students in learning and academic exchanges!
