Representatives of the Faculty of Law Participate in an International Conference Dedicated to the 85th Anniversary of Academician Maidan Suleimenov
On October 1–2, 2026, as part of the annual Civil Law Readings, an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Civil Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan: History, Theory, and Practice” was held to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Academician, Doctor of Law, and Professor Maidan Kuntuarovich Suleimenov.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Law of Academician E.A. Buketov Karaganda National Research University: G.A. Ilyassova, Research Professor and Candidate of Law, and Sh.T. Baikenzhina, PhD student at the Department of Civil and Labor Law.

The conference addressed current issues in the development of civil law in the Republic of Kazakhstan, contemporary trends in private law regulation, as well as the scientific and theoretical foundations of Kazakh civil law scholarship.

The event brought together leading legal scholars from Kazakhstan, including N.O. Dulatbekov, Member of the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The participation of the Faculty’s representatives provided an opportunity to discuss pressing issues of civil law, exchange experience with leading civil law scholars, and strengthen academic and scientific cooperation.

The Faculty of Law congratulates Academician Maidan Kuntuarovich Suleimenov on his 85th anniversary and wishes him good health, many more years of fruitful academic work, and continued success and new achievements!
