Welcome to the department of journalism

The Department of Journalism trains specialists in mass media and offers bachelor's and master's programs. Students of the department have the opportunity to study in five directions: "Electronic media", "Print media", "Transmedia journalism", "Advertising and PR activities", "Creative digital technologies". The curriculum includes topical disciplines like "Multimedia journalism", "Fundamentals of copywriting", "Cyber journalism", "Modern media text". Students study political, economic, environmental, and sports journalism. Graduates of the department will work as journalists, editors in publications, electronic media, spokespersons in organizations, heads of press departments, advertising agents. The scientific interests of the department are related to the study of the media culture of modern press, digital journalism, and convergent media.
