Welcome to the department of chemical technology and petrochemistry

The Department of Chemical Technologies and Petrochemistry trains competitive specialists capable of modeling and optimizing technological solutions in the production of inorganic substances and materials, and addressing oil and gas processing issues. The education is based on international standards and national traditions. Students can pursue two tracks: "Inorganic Synthesis, Production of Pure Reagents, Mineral Fertilizers, Salts, Acids, and Bases" and "Fundamentals of Petrochemical Synthesis Technology, Oil Refining." The curriculum includes relevant subjects such as "Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Substances," "Chemical Technology of Acids and Bases," and "Chemistry and Physics of Oil, Gas Condensate, and Gas." Graduates can work as chemical technologists, managers at petrochemical enterprises, master technologists at oil refineries, and teach at universities. The department's scientific interests focus on researching ore enrichment technologies, producing new inorganic substances, and processing non-classical oils and oil residues to obtain alternative motor fuels and petrochemical raw materials.
