DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY

Welcome to the Department of Geography!

The Department of Geography trains specialists in the field of education and offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. Students of the department have the opportunity to study in four tracks. The curriculum includes relevant subjects such as "Regional Studies," "Aerospace Methods of Geographical Research," "Geomorphology," and "Methods of Teaching Geography in the Context of Updated Educational Content." Students can also receive additional education by taking a special course. Graduates of the department will be able to conduct project and exploratory research, fundamental and applied scientific and geographical projects, participate in the work of nature protection and natural resource management bodies, carry out ecological and geographical monitoring of the environment, and work in educational organizations. The department’s research interests are related to geoecological studies, environmental protection, and the study of modern technogenic processes.
