DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS AND DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

The Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations provides training of specialists through bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in the field of Mathematics. The Department offers the Bachelor’s program 6B05401–“Mathematics”, the Master’s programs 7M01502–“Mathematics” and 7M05401–“Mathematics”, as well as the Doctoral program 8D05401–“Mathematics”.
The educational programs are focused on fundamental and modern mathematical training, including mathematical analysis, differential equations, variational methods, optimization methods, mathematical modeling, and data analysis. The training of master’s and doctoral students is aimed at pedagogical and research activities.
The Department’s research activities are related to studies in mathematical physics, fractional and loaded differential and integro-differential equations, as well as the theory of function approximation. The Department implements grant-funded research projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Scientific supervision of the projects is carried out by the professors of the Department, with the active involvement of young researchers and doctoral students.
Graduates of the Department work in the fields of education, science, information technologies, analytics, and mathematical modeling.
