DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS AND DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

Welcome to the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations

The department trains specialists in the field of mathematics and offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs. Students can pursue one of three tracks: natural science, pedagogical, and scientific-pedagogical. The curriculum includes relevant courses such as “Calculus of Variations and Optimization Methods,” “Selected Topics in Analysis,” and “Design of Promising Scientific Research in the Natural Science Environment.” Students gain specialized knowledge in fundamental mathematics. Graduates of the department can work as mathematics teachers in schools and colleges or as mathematician-programmers in fields that use automated control systems. The department's research interests include boundary value problems for heat conduction equations with fractional-order load, non-classical problems of mathematical physics, pseudo-Volterra integral equations, and heat conduction boundary problems in degenerate domains with specific boundary conditions, as well as the theory of function approximation.
