ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE FUTURE: KARAGANDA BUKETOV UNIVERSITY RESEARCH ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE!

Researcher at Karaganda Buketov University Emma Radikovna Usmanova took part in the annual congress of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA), held on August 26–29, 2026, in Athens, Greece.

🎤 As part of the congress, Emma Radikovna presented a paper in one of the thematic sessions entitled “Prominent Woman of the Bronze Age based on artifacts Lisakovsk Burial Site.” The presentation focused on materials from the Lisakovsk burial site and the role of women in Bronze Age society based on archaeological artifacts.

The EAA Annual Meeting is one of the major international platforms where archaeologists from around the world present their research findings, exchange academic expertise, and discuss modern approaches to the study of archaeological heritage.

Particular attention is paid to modern methods and technologies for studying antiquity, including digital archaeology, 3D modeling, geographic information systems, scientific analytical methods, and other interdisciplinary approaches.

The participation of Karaganda Buketov University researchers in international academic events creates new opportunities to expand professional networks, strengthen international cooperation, and present the results of Kazakhstan’s archaeological research to the global academic community.
