DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS SYSTEMS

History:

The department was founded in 1993 on the basis of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Vocational and Art Faculty. The first recruitment of students in the specialty 300440 - "Organization of Traffic" was carried out in 1997, and the graduation of specialists with the qualification "traffic engineer" was carried out in 2002. In different years, the department was headed by Associate Professor  S.S. Magavin; Candidate of Science Engineering, Professor M.S. Ovcharov; Candidate of science engineering, Associate Professor V.I. Nartya ; Candidate of science engineering , Associate Professor K.G. Karimov; PhD, Professor J.M. Kuanyshbaev;  Candidate of pedagogic science, Associate Professor  K.R. Isaeva; PhD, Professor G.O. Tazhigulova; Candidate of pedagogic science, Associate Professor S.G. Kurymbaev; Associate Professor I.S. Utebaev; PhD, Professor G.O. Tazhigulova. Teachers: Currently, we have 13 teachers, including a doctor of sciences, 5 candidates of sciences, 7 masters, holders of the republican title "Best University Teacher": G.O. Tazhigulova, A.M. Zatyneyko , S.G. Kurymbaev. Trainees: Today, 287 students study at the department, including from Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Employment: The employment rate of graduates ranges from 60 to 100% Innovative Programs: 6V11302- Comprehensive transport logistics: undergraduate. Infrastructure: The educational work of the department is provided by 8 educational and one scientific laboratories. The auditing fund of the department includes specialized laboratories on hydraulics and arrangement of transport equipment, technical means of traffic management and energy installations of transport equipment. Practical classes are held in training and production workshops. Leadership and Accreditation: The department's programs have national accreditation and occupy worthy positions in the national ratings: 6B07105-Transport, transport equipment and technology/Atameken - 2020 - 2nd place. Partners: - Siberian State Automobile and Road Academy (Russia). - Kryvyi Rih Technical University (Ukraine). - Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (Bishkek). Tashkent State Transport University (Uzbekistan). Graduates of the Department: The department’s graduates are currently achieving significant success in their professional careers.
