DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF RADIOPHYSICS AND ELECTRONICS
History:
The Department of RF and E was organized on the basis of the Department of Radioelectronics of the Karaganda Pedagogical Institute. The first head of the department was с.p.s, Associate Professor Vakholsky B. M. (1972-1973). Then the department was successively headed by с.t.s. Krauss L. A. (1973-1984), c.p.m.s. Ermaganbetov K. T.(1985-1995), c.t.s. Mukanov D. M. (1996-1999), c.t.s. Chirkova L. V. (2000-2005), c.p.m.s. Ismailov Zh.T. (2006-2017), PhD Zeinidenov A. K. (2017-2019).
Teachers:
Currently, the department is provided with highly qualified teaching staff with basic education – 1 Doctor of Science, 2 PhD doctors, 7 Candidates of Science, 5 Masters of Science, 2 teachers with extensive experience in teaching and production activities. The share of teaching staff of the department with academic degrees is 59%. Among the teachers of the department - 5 holders of the title " The best teacher of the University of the Republic of Kazakhstan "(Ermaganbetov K. T., Zeinidenov A. K., Chirkova L. V., Aimukhanov A. K., Makhanov K. M.), 4 holders of the scholarship of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for talented young scientists-Aimukhanov A. K., Afanasyev D. A., Tusupbekova A. K., Zeinidenov A. K. Professor A. K. Aimukhanov is a member of the National Scientific Council.
Students:
Over the past five years, there has been an increase in the number of students enrolled in both bachelor's and master's degree programs. According to ЕP 6B07104 - "Instrument Engineering", 6B06201 - "Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications", foreign students from Belarus, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and China were trained in different years. The department also trains students in the framework of the state program "Serpin-2050".
Employment opportunities:
The number of employed graduates increases every year, which indicates their competitiveness, for example, in 2016, according to the ЕP "Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications", these indicators are 50% , in 2017 -64%, in 2018-66%, in 2019 - 66%, in 2020-69%; for the ЕP 6B07104 – "Instrument Engineering", employment indicators also have a positive trend: in 2018 – 75%, in 2019 – 77%, in 2020 - 79%.
Educational programs:
As part of the expansion of international cooperation for students of the ЕP, an agreement on the training of qualified personnel (dual degree training) on the agreed training programs for bachelors, masters and doctoral students was signed between the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics" (TUSUR), The Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" and Karaganda Buketov University.
Accreditation and leadership:
The department carries out joint training of specialists with Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.

Academic mobility:
Over the past 5 years, there has been an increase in the active participation of students and faculty of the department in programs of both external academic mobility (Poland, Russia, Czech Republic) and internal academic mobility programs. Our students also have the opportunity to participate in the program "Work and Travel", in the project "School of Young Civil Servant", in startup projects, to be participants of volunteer movements, etc.

Teachers of the department participate in the implementation of international projects-Erasmus+: "ENTER - (EngineeriNg educaTors pEdagogical tRaining) – "Pedagogical training of engineering teachers", Erasmus+ CBHE PROJECT:" Implementing Dual System in Kazakhstan " - KAZDUAL.
