Dates and facts

The department employs foreign specialists in the field of foreign language education: Turkish language teachers Sechkin Sarpkaya (Ege University, Turkey), Çidem Bekar Kurt (Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey), Burak Korkmaz (Ankara Hazi Bayram Veli University, Turkey), Zekhra Bayir (Aksaray university, Turkey), English teacher John Maruschak (USA, US Embassy in Kazakhstan English Language Fellow program) and French teacher Paul Murat (Bordeux Montaigne University, France), who teach classes in the second foreign language. The department closely cooperates with international organizations represented by the French Alliance of Karaganda, the Goethe Institute, and the Embassy of Turkey in Kazakhstan. Various events are jointly organized in order to attract students' interest in learning several foreign languages and familiarization with foreign-language cultures. Currently, the department's staff pays great attention to creating a high-quality base of educational and methodological supportthat continues to develop educational and methodological complexes in the department's disciplines, includingthe author's printed and electronic publications.
