Welcome to the Military department!

The military department trains reserve officers for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The students of the department are university students who passed a special selection.
The objective of the Military Department is to replenish the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to train reserve officers for the troops of Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection (RCBP) and Environmental Safety.
The primary activity of the Military Department is the training of highly qualified reserve officers in both theoretical and practical aspects of RCBP troops.
The core of the training program consists of field exercises, including tactical-special and specialized training. Students are taught to use weapons and military equipment correctly and efficiently, to manage units in complex situations, to perform organizational tasks, and much more.
Upon completion of the military training program, students take a comprehensive final exam and, after graduating from the university, are commissioned as reserve officers.
The Military Department operates under the Department of Military Education and Science of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and reports to the Chairman of the Board — the Rector of the University.
