Welcome to the Faculty of Biology and Geography

The Faculty of Biology and Geography of the E.A. Buketov Karaganda University, founded in 1972, unites specialists in biology, geography, ecology, biotechnology and other sciences. Its mission is to provide high—quality education using innovative technologies while preserving classical academic values. The faculty has 60 faculty members and trains more than 900 students, undergraduates and doctoral students. There are research laboratories, an educational field base, a nature museum and modern classrooms equipped with multimedia equipment. Graduates annually join the professional community, ready to take responsibility for the development of the region.
