Welcome to the department of inorganic and technical chemistry
The Department of Inorganic and Technical Chemistry trains highly qualified chemistry teachers and chemistry–biology teachers with proficiency in English, as well as research chemists and chemical technologists, through its bachelor’s and master’s programs.
Students and master’s candidates at the department can study through the following key modules: professional training, foundational training, teaching technologies, distance learning technologies, and English language. The curriculum includes current subjects such as Management in Education, Inclusive Education, Coordination Chemistry, Stereochemistry, Organization of Project Activities for Schoolchildren, Methods of Research, Methodology of carrying out school chemical experiments, Demonstration methodology, Chemistry in School, Distance Learning Platforms and Services, Organization of Distance Learning in the School System, English (B2, C1), Innovation in Chemistry, Nanomaterials Chemistry, Functional Materials for Organic Electronics, Fundamentals of Materials Science, Supramolecular Chemistry, and others.
Graduates of the department are qualified to work as secondary school teachers, college and university instructors, research associates, chemical technologists, and materials technologists.
The department’s research interests include the development of new functional materials based on phenylene–azulenes for organic electronics, the development of physicochemical foundations for the targeted synthesis of new chalcogen polyoxocompounds for microelectronics, the development of new methods for qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis of inorganic objects, and the study and development of effective educational technologies and chemistry teaching methodologies.
