Welcome to the department of basic military training and martial arts

The Department of Basic Military Training and Martial Arts trains specialists in the field of military-patriotic education and physical training of pre-conscription youth, offers bachelor’s degree and master’s degree programs. Graduates of the department will be able to work as teachers-organizers of the basic military and technological training, organizers of the civil defense and life safety service, instructors in the security services, in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Internal and Border Troops of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the bodies of the National Security Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the ranks of sergeant and officer personnel. During the period of mobilization activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, a graduate can hold primary officer positions.
