Welcome to the department of civil and labor law

The Department of Civil and Labor Law trains specialists through bachelor's programs (“Legal Regulation of Entrepreneurial Activity,” “Legal Support for Business”), a master's program (“Private Law”), and a PhD program (“Jurisprudence”). The curriculum includes civil, labor, family, and private international law, along with elective courses such as competition law, legal support of public procurement, and protection of entrepreneurs’ and consumers’ rights. The department collaborates with the Karaganda Region Chamber of Entrepreneurs, organizing internships and collecting practical materials. Students and faculty participate in the university’s legal clinic and provide free legal aid to the public. The department is active in research on private law, contributes to legislative reviews, and organizes competitions, olympiads, and creative events. It is equipped with specialized facilities: a courtroom, a mediation room, a legal information room, and a library collection.
