Welcome to the department of engineering thermophysics named after Professor Zh.S. Akylbaev

Akylbayev trains specialists in the field of energy and environmental protection, implements bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs. Students of the department have the opportunity to study along the following trajectories: Industrial heat power engineering, Heat power plants, Life Safety, Environmental Ecology. The training program includes such relevant disciplines as Boiler installations and steam generators, Superchargers and heat engines, Turbine installations of thermal power plants, Heating and Heating Networks, Fundamentals of Radiation Safety, Technical regulation of industrial safety, Fire safety of residential and public buildings, Safety of rescue operations. Graduates of the educational program can work at heat and power enterprises, environmental organizations, emergency and labor protection bodies.
