Welcome to the department of applied mathematics and informatics
The Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics trains specialists in digital technologies and robotics for business, IT companies, science, and education. The department offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs. Students are trained in two areas: information and communication technologies, and pedagogical education. The first area covers algorithmization and programming in various languages and environments, databases, Big Data, computer graphics and modeling, web technologies, virtual and augmented reality, and cybersecurity. The second area focuses on teaching computer science and educational robotics. The master’s and doctoral programs include a research training module. Graduates can work in IT companies, schools, and colleges, and with a master's or doctoral degree — in higher education institutions. The department's research interests include mathematical modeling of objects and processes, intelligent data analysis, risk assessment of information security, and professional training of IT specialists.
